Annoying Popups

Recently I started getting all of these random popups when
IE is opened. I'm assuming that when I visited a site
some sort of plug-in was installed that runs a popup
server thing. How do I search IE for what is making these
popups for junk internet advertisements?

First, Remove all the parasites on your computer.
Delete all the spywares and bad BHOs from your system.

The best way is to block the server from tracking you in the first place
Blocking Ads with a Hosts File and AdShield. Under the Security Tab download
the hosts.zip file.
