Random K drive

I'm having problems with my laptop and so exported my mail files to a memory
stick then imported them to Outlook on my home computer. The home PC saw the
memory stick as K drive. It imported everything ok but now apparently always
expects the K drive to be there. When I fire up Outlook it will say it can't
find the PST file on K. Or that will sometimes pop up randomly. It still
works ok but just gives me that annoying message. Why do that if all I was
doing was importing and not using K as a hard drive?

Verify that Outlook is looking locally for the PST file. Do this by
accessing Control Panel and select the Mail icon. From the Mail Setup
windows select Data files. Verify that the PST file Outlook is using is
local (i.e. c:\ or the drive letter assigned to your root directory). If
not, copy your PST file from K drive to your "My Documents" folder and
point the Outlook to look there for the PST file.
