Random bars transition effect slows down drastically

Has anyone notices that transitions from screen to screen
using the random bars effect sometimes runs so slowly that
it can take up to a minute for the effect to complete.
This is very frustrating when doind a live presentation.
Are there any fixes for this problem?

Hi,

Random bars doesn't slow down my PC, but occasionally fade
to black does. You might want to "optimize" your
presentation. Check out www.pptfaq.com to learn more.

This only happens once in a while. Not all the time so I
dont think its the presentation.
