Fade Transitions

I can figure out how to fade one slide into another by placing one slide on
top of another and then using Custom Animation, Effects, and Timing. This
is still complicated and time-consuming for me, and I only do a few per
show. How do you do an entire slide show using fade transitions? I have
seen these done, but my slide show is going to be over 100 slides in length.
I don't think I'll live that long unless there's another way. Thanks. CT

Hi

Use a transition rather than an animation - fade smoothly should do the job.
Though you are restricted to only 3 speed settings, there is an 'apply to
all' button so it's worth the restriction if you ask me :).

2003: Slide show -> Slide transitions
2007: Animations tab -> 'Transition to this slide' section
