Quick Launch

I am having a problem maintaining a setting on my computer when I reboot.
I want "Quick Lauch" to show on the Task Bar. I set it to do this by
checking the "Show Quick Launch" button and then "Apply" while in the " Task
and Start Menu Properties" menu. Quick lauch will then show on the task bar
as requested. Every time I reboot my computer after doing this, "Quick
Launch" is no longer on the task bar and I have to go back and repeat the
above everytime. Anyone know what the solution to this might be? Thanks

Try the script at:

Line 164. Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note: You may lose all the existing Taskbar settings, and the additional
toolbars that you may've added earlier.

Alternately, you may try repairing the Taskbar manually. See David's post

Right click the taskbar, untick 'lock the taskbar', tick 'show quick launch'.
That oughta do it. Relock the taskbar or not.

chook.
