Quick launch icon spacing issues

Hi all.

My quick launch icon spacing has gone out of kilter. They're right up
against the top of the taskbar, with the additional "overflow" icons half
visible in a line below. The double arrow that you click to access the
additonal icons is still there and functional.

I didn't alter anything that may have caused this to happen. I've tried
rebooting as well as reapplying the default windows theme, but nothing has
helped.

Any thoughts on this? Many thanks!

Sounds like your taskbar is set at double-height. Right-click the taskbar
and ensure Lock the Taskbar is deselected, then left-click on the top edge
of the taskbar and drag down until you have a single line.

Not sure, but you could try the following:

1) Right-click the Taskbar -> select 'Toolbars' -> uncheck 'Quick launch' to remove it, then add it
back.

2) with the Taskbar unlocked, right-click the grab bar for the quick launch toolbar, hi-lite the
'View' option, toggle the icon size to whatever option you're currently not using, then toggle it
back.

Hi Bob

Nope, the taskbar is definitely single height. There's no problem with the
running program icons, only those on the quick launch bar. It's almost like
it's one-and-a-half height, with just the top portion of the second tier of
icons visible.

Hi Keith

I tried removing and replacing the quick launch, with no luck.

I've used the same icon size for years, but today they just won't cooperate.
Changing to large icons pushes the lower half-tier out of the way, but take
up too much room. I can't for the life of me figure out how the original
spacing of the small icons got altered.
