Questions on Converted databases

I am working on a database that was originally created in
Access 2000 then converted to Access 97. I have problem
executing update queries in it but when I copy and paste a
table to a database, whose origin is Access 97, I have no
problems in doing the same query. I have everything
Structure and data remain are the same in both tables.
Then I copy and paste the updated table and paste it back
in my converted database and no problems with it being
pasted.
