we had windows xp reintalled by a computer guy it says 7
days left for activation its already activated what do we
do we keep getting this messang.

Paste this command without the quotes into the Start>Run box and click OK:

%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a

If your copy of XP is activated, you will get a Windows Product Activation
window
that says "Windows is already activated. Click OK to exit."

If not, you'll get a similar window that says "Let's Activate Windows."
