Question on "Service Stopping"

Hi,
How can I do a "Force quit" on a service? For instance, if I chose to
stop a service, and it gets in a state of "Stopping" and just sits
there.. how can I recover from this without rebooting?

Obtain process id for the service and use Kill.exe

You cannot stop critical system services just like that.
Specify which services you are trying to stop. If the
service you are trying to stop "hangs" without giving you
any error messages, its possible that its not functioning
properly or has got corrupted.
