I received an email which contains what looks like an animated gif. If I
forward or save it, I loose the animation? How can I save it with the
animation?

If you forward it, it will still be animated. The sender (you), however,
won't see the animation. The recipient will. This is also true of animated
images you attach or embed in original messages. Outlook's compose window
does not show animation.

Ah ha! Thank you vert much.
