Question about Taskbar Icons

Does anyone know how to delete icons from those listed on the "customize"
list in the Taskbar/Startup selection in Control Panel? I have icons on
that list I don't want on the list, but I cannot find a way to delete them
from the list entirely. Many thanks.

You need to run Kelly's code. It is not an "official" ability of Win XP to
delete those icons.
