I purchased Windows XP Pro recently and I want to install
it on my parents computer so they don't have to go get
robbed when I already have it. I've been told that with
XP Pro you can install onto multiple machines....is this
true? If not can I get a multi-user license or whatever
they are and how would I go about doing this. Any help
would be greatly aprietiated....thank you

This is true with all version of Windows since 3.1. For must go buy another
copy/licence to install on a second machine. There are VLK copies but not
for 2 PC's. You must be buying for many more.

"Trustworthy Computing" is only another example of an Oxymoron!
"Produkt-Aktivierung macht frei!"

No - you may not. That is why the Product activation system was brought
in, to stop people installing on every machine in the street. Its one
copy - one machine. But it is very unlikely that your parents need Pro
- get a Home CD, and probably an upgrade one at that
