Question about backup

Please forgive me for all these questions, I'm trying to get things right.

On the File menu, there is a "backup" option. I don't recall whether this
came with Outlook 2002 or if I installed it as an add-on. In any event, it
seems to be copying my .pst file to my backup device. But there also seem
to be some other settings I need to be concerned about, under Documents and
Settings, that I should be backing up, too.

Is there a tool that will give me a complete backup? One I can use to fully
restore my Outlook in the event of the system crash?

Thanks.

Thanks for this information. Can I assume that, in the event of a system
crash, I can just copy back the .pst file from the backup device and I'll be
back to where I was since the last backup?

Thanks again.

Not at all. Read the instructions he posted. You will learn that you must
expressly connect an Outlook profile to the data file while Outlook is
running in order to use it. Just copying a data file with Outlook closed
will corrupt the profile.
