Queries or Reports from the Desktop

Is there a way to have a querie run and a report print remotely of Access?
In other words can I click a shortcut on my desktop and print out a daily
report without having to open up Access>

My problem is that I have Access's protection enabled and it wont let me get
into it using anything that I have found other than the shortcut that opens
the program.
