I currently have a PC running Windows ME. It was
purchased from Gateway, and, as a result, I do not have
the original WinME CD.
I would like to upgrade this system to Win XP Home
edition, through a clean install. Although I do not have
the WinME CD, I own a Windows 98 Upgrade CD. This CD was
sufficient qualifying media when I upgraded my other
system from Win98 to WinXP. Will I be able to use this
CD as qualifying media, even though I am upgrading from
WinME?
Thanks,
Greg
