qhosts.apd virus problem

Hi

i have a trojan/virus called qhosts.apd which refuses to leave my system. It keeps infecting a file calle
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host

Mcafee detects and cleans but everytime i restart it comes right back

does anyone have any knowledge about this

I have the same issue. Ive tried the Symantec tool and it does not find a
problem. Any other ideas?

Also, Ive lost my Windows XP Installation CD. I have my dell lic keys etc
and want to download a version to use for the re installation. Any ideas on
where i can get it from?
