A GPO can both advertize or publish software packages. Since a group policy
object can be linked to a domain, a DC container, an Organizational Unit as
well as a Site, the possibilities are endless. If the application can't be
distributed with an msi installation script, you can construct a deployment
package using Wininstall LE found on a W2K CD-Rom (update available at: http://www.ondemandsoftware.com)
