Publishing Terminal Server

A Windows 2000 sp4 server is not listed when I open up a
terminal server client. How do I publish this server?

Can you ping the terminal server or connect directly to
the server using IP address?

i can ping the server by name and ip, as well as connect
via client manually entering name. however, the name is
not in the list of servers to connect to (drop-down list).

Hmm...it may be that your client is just unable to browse
to it, or that tbe browse packets aren't successfully
being replied to from the terminal server.

Maybe run a network trace to see if things are working
correctly.
