Publishing Question?

I have three domains (subsites) I manage with fp2003. Two of the them are
just basic sites that I update content locally and then publish to remote.
The third one is DBase driven Discussion Forum that I created & modify only
opened remotely. Do I use publish>"remote to local" or "synchronize" to
update disc based site? I would also like to use the disc based as a backup
copy. Forum is working very well so far so I hesitant to do anything that
might muck it up!. Thanks for your suggestions.

Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I make changes on the server and later do a
backup to my local hard disk. Probably not the best practice however!
After you connect and log into your site with FP choose publish.... then put
in the drive and path, etc to your destination... ie c:\myweb
and publish away.
