publishing my web pages via frontpage

Hi all, I'm new to Frontpage (FP 2000) and I'm confused as to how to publish
my completed pages, in the past I've always used FTP.

My ISP has enabled Frontpage extensions and provided me with three items of
information on how to use them.
1) my username,
2) password
3) my FP domain. (fp.USERNAME.ISP.net
(the uppercase is words are NOT the real names)

But I'm unsure as to what to do with them. I've clicked on File/Publish Web,
then the "specify the location...." start with http:// (am I supposed to
enter the fp.domain where?)

I've tried entering the domain info
http://fp.DOMAIN.ISP.net
and it then requests my username and password, so I thought I was on a
winner, but the username/password box just keeps returning, requesting my
password. I've checked with my ISP and they say all the username/passwords
are correct.

Confused and Delirious from sifting through MS's support pages, I ended up
here.

Can anyone help?

Using FTP on a web server with FrontPage extensions breaks the FP extensions
and the provider will probably get rather annoyed if you keep asking them to
repair them if you are using components that need the extensions.

Use File, Publish

then in the box, it's

http://www.yourdomain.com

Once it's looked for and found the domain, another box will appear in which
you put your UserName and Password.

Further questions should really be addressed to the

microsoft.public.frontpage.client

newsgroup. The FP gurus live there.
