Can't publish with FP 2003

I have a site at www.mcjtraining.co.uk/ My ISP has confirmed that FPSEs
are installed. But I cannot publish to the site that was originally
uploaded by FTP before I requested (and paid for!) FPSEs to be installed.

When I attempt to publish I have made sure that the Remote Web server
type is set to FrontPage or SharePoint Services and the Remote Web site
address is set to http://www.mcjtraining.co.uk before clicking OK. In
the Connect to dialogue I type in my username and password and click
OK. The Connect to dialogue immediately refreshes with the password box
empty.

Before a further abortive attempts to publish FP Cleaner reported that
the Hidden Temporary Directory was empty and that one file was removed
from the .web directory.

I am wondering if this is a failure of my system? Is something blocking
the connection from FP to my broadband connection? I would appreciate
any assistance.

In the meantime I have asked my ISP to confirm the username and password
I received from them. Unfortunately in the Web Hosting Control Panel
there is no facility to Enable/Disable the FPSEs and on their
installation the FTP facility is removed. I don't think that I am very
comfortable with this particular ISP!

Interesting.

The server claims the extensions are installed:
Server: Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) FrontPage/5.0.2.2510
Last-Modified: Sun, 22 Apr 2007 12:30:46 GMT

However, checking for the FrontPage configuration file:
http://www.mcjtraining.co.uk/_vti_inf.html
returns a 404 page not found.

Have your host reset / repair the extensions one more time.

Thank you for that information and I have emailed my ISP to request
repair/reinstall of FPSEs.

I am curious to know the procedure to access the server configuration.
Please tell

I use a program called Sam Spade that I've had for quite some time.
However it seems the downloadable version is currently not available.

As for checking for the existence of the configuration file, simply click the link that I
posted to the _vti_inf.html file.
