Public updates to AMG music databases?

When I use WMP9 and rip tracks off my own CDs, WMP9
checks some public database on the internet to see if
there is additional data for my particular album and the
individual tracks that can be added to my music database
library as a service to me in managing my music. Most
people know this already- I'm not try to insult anyone's
intelligence...

I have several CDs that I have ripped the tracks off and
discovered that the public internet database used to
gather additional information for my album and tracks is
missing details. In this case I am forced to enter the
data manually for each track using WMP9's Advanced Tag
Editor. Most people know this too... No big, but rather
tedious.

Being sensitive to how long this took me to complete
accuately (bifocals and all , I was wondering if there
was a way that I could now somehow export the track data I
edited manually back up into the public internet database
so other that also own this CD could benefit from my work
and wouldn't have to go through the tedium that I expended
when they also rip tracks off their copy of this album.

Thanks for the help!!

You can add updates and new entries to the FreeDB and the CDDB, depending on
which one the application supports.
CDex supports FreeDB. http://www.cdex.n3.net/
Quintessential Player supports CDDB. http://www.quinnware.com/
