Ptr goes off line intermittantly

Hi all
When using my printer which most of the time works perfectly, there are
times when the printer goes offline for no reason. Appreciate any helpful
comments. Thanks

If it's a USB connected printer, check the settings of the USB Controllers
in Device Manager... the default is for Windows to turn off power to them to
save energy.
 
I have the same problem. i do not know how to change my printer from being
offline to being online. Can you help me with that:? Thanx
