Printing without background colors

Hi all
After doing a clean install, I lost the feature of eliminating background
colors when printing out a page with a background color. Appreciate any
response helping me to find that feature again.

that's not an OS or spooler feature. Perhaps an application performs this
function?

This is usually a question related to printing web pages. In Firefox
the option is in Files, Page Setup, Format and Options, and look for the
"Print background" checkbox. In Internet Explorer click on the printer
icon, Page Setup and check the "print background colors and images" box.
