Word background coloring

On my flyer, I am trying to apply the background color. It is on screen, but
when I print preview, there is a border of white and no background color. Any
help would be appreciated. How do I see it or print it without the boarder

Most printers are unable to print all the way to the edge of the paper; they
require some unprinted edges for pushing/pulling the paper through the
printer. Some printers (often labeled "photo" printers) can print all the
way to the edges, but only by setting an option in the printer driver's
Properties dialog. Word doesn't have a way to set this on a per-document
basis.

The main alternatives are (a) use colored paper (this is also much cheaper
than using ink to print a color background) or (b) if the printer can handle
larger paper, print on larger paper and then trim the paper to the desired
page size.
