PST TMP

i have made a personal folder in my oulook and i move
all my mails there from my mailbox , the path is

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook username.pst

My problem is that when i log on i find there many
temporary pst files with the same size of my pst like
prf28.tmp....


any help why these tmp file is created , thanks you

How large is your pst? Outlook doesn't normally use temp files, so something
else is creating them.

Are you using a roaming profile on a network? Is the pst stored on a network
drive?

Yes the profiles are roaming

and save on a server

can you tell why this is happening
