Pst - problem with name

I have outlook 2007. My computer died. I bought a new one. I wanted to use my
old pst file and not the new one created by default when I set up Outlook on
the new pc. The old pst file I used was the one I backed up to 'My
Documents'. It is called Outlook Backup.pst. I want it to be called Outlook
pst. If I change it (in its default location), Outlook can't open because it
can't find the pst file. Is there a way i can change the name in the default
location?

Thanks

Theres no need to move it to the default location, copy your backup pst to
your Documents Folder, rename it if you wish.
Use the Mail Applet in the control Panel to configure a new profile, add
this data file & your accounts, and test

You can if you insist copy it to the default location, and rename it, but do
not use the name of an existing pst file
You will still need to create a new Profile
