PSP and Motorola phone USB problems

I have installed and reinstalled the software that came with both of these
devices to no avail. Under device manager the motorola shows up with a yellow
question mark beside of it. I know there is nothing wrong with my ports
because my camera and printer work fine from either one of them. I am running
windows xp home edition and have no compaints otherwise. I have spent A LOT
of money on these two devices, the software to accompany them and would
really be unhappy if I can't use either one of them to their full potential.
PLEASE help me. I know some computer genius knows the quick and easy answer.
Any help would be appreciated.

In Device Manager double click on the problem device to open its properties.
Click on the Resources tab.
Click on each entry listed in the Resource Setting pane and look in the lower
Conflicting Devices list pane to see if there are any conflicts. If there is any
conflict listed, you will most likely need to uninstall the device and possibly
others in order to get the conflicting resource to play nice or move to another
resource.

If there are no conflicts listed, the next step would be to double check and make
sure all of the ports are operational and of the proper version for your new devices.

Double check the manufacturers support site for updated drivers to download install
per their instructions. Double/triple check ( which it sounds as if you have ) the
installation documentation to be sure there isn't and special needed step you may
have missed.
