USB Motorola A925

I got my Motorola A925 connected to Desktop Suite via USB once but now it gives me an error that the USB device has malfunctioned and is not recognised. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it but get the same error and cannot connect the phone to the PC via the USB port.

I went out and bought a 2 port USB PCI card. My camera
works perfectly now....I think it was because my USB
ports were very old, my system was built in 1998/1999 and
probably never upgraded from original issue. My camera
probably was only compatible back to USB 1.1.
I have a BIOS upgrade request in. Maybe that will help.

You need to disconnect and reboot the telephone
then reconnect

and with Windows task manger kill mRuteruntime.exe which blocks the USB
com port

Just using the A9255 as a modem for several hours
and it is fine and stable on the Danish 3G net
