My .pst files somehow got damaged and I can not repair them with the inbox
repair tool...I recieve an error msg at stage 4...saying an error has
occurred and files have not been modified.
I copied the pst file to my desktop but now recieve the error "properties
for this information service must be defined prior to use".

Suggestions?
 
Version of Outlook?
Tried running scanpst.exe against the pst-file on the other computer
already? This sometimes help.
Otherwise restore from backup.
