**properly saving WMM files**

I have been posting these same questions over and over, only phrased
differently. I have figured out most of my problems. But the one remaining
obstacle i am having is this: I have a bunch of different 15 -20 sec clips
added with transitions and all into a movie format with begininig and ending.
I have from day one had problems saving to my computer. I keep hearing
about DV/AVI files. My objective is to burn this project to DVD for play
back on home players. Now it seems that the only way WMM will save is with
DV/AVI and just like everybody else. . .i get so far and it stops and sends
the cant find source mssg. My main question is IF i get lucky enough to save
this movie to my pc using the dv/avi mode(and at this point thats all it
seems like)WILL i, be able to take this dv/avi finished product and burn
copies onto DVD-R discs for playback on home units??????? I been doing this
for weeks. . .somebody please. . .help a brother out!!!
