programming dvi o/p

I am new to vb .net. I need help in order to develop a program to send
test patterns to monitor over a dvi o/p of my computer. Can anyone
tell me how to accomplish it.

I suggest to describe the problem in more detail. You can simply use a form
+ picturebox to display a test pattern on the monitor, or you can use
DirectX to display hardware accelerated graphics.
