Any of you freeware-guru's know of a small program with which you can view
..ps files (postscript).

Any of you freeware-guru's know of a small program with which you can view
.ps files (postscript).

Ghostscript with GSview (http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/), not small but
the only I know. If there are other programs to view these files, they
require most likely also Ghost Script.

I prefer converting them immediately into PDFs with PDFCreator:

The fun thing is, PDFCreator actually uses GhostScript as a backend
for the PS to PDF conversion.
