program removal help

I'm trying to remove a printer software so that I can reinstall it (I ran
into problems with the initial printer installation). When I click on the
add/remove program, nothing happens (it reads that there is .03MB if
information installed).
If I try to reinstall the printer software, it won't allow me, saying that
the program is already installed.
Any ideas of how to remove the .03MB of info?

Not without knowing the specifics of the program (whose software is it, have
you gone to their FAQ page?)
 
Have you tried rebooting into safe mode to remove this driver? It's
possible part of the printer drivers runs as a service to.
What kind of printer is it? Were any help apps installed?
