Hey Dicky,
It sounds like internet explorer is hanging and/or access violating. The
only sure fire way to determine root cause would be to dump the process
while it is in a hung state and debug that dump. You would like need to
open a support incident for this kind of troubleshooting. You may want to
try uninstalling/disabling anything 3rd party that has a tie into the
browser (such as toolbars and add-ons) and see if this corrects the
problem. If not you could download a tool called process explorer from
www.sysinternals.com and use it to determine all the dlls loading under the
iexplorer process. Try uninstalling anything 3rd party loading that you may
not be using.
