sgtray.exe loads as a service for Veritas Update Manager after installing
Veritas RecordNow DX CD R/W software.
Veritas CIS RecordNow DX loads it as the default installation.
SGTRAY.EXE can be found:
Program is commonly found at C:\Program Files\VERITAS Software\Update
Manager\sgtray.exe
You can un-install UPDATE MANAGER from Add/Remove Programs.
Look for : CIS recordnow DX Update Manager
To remove sgtray.exe update manager just un-install this program.
Your CD R/W software will still be functional.
This will remove the program from your start up and also from your
C:\Program Files folder.
It will not remove the folder \Veritas Software\Update Manager you can
browse with explorer and delete the folder.
The sub-folder containing a .Dall file will be removed so if you see it just
close and reopen explorer and delete the file folder C:\Program
Files\VERITAS Software\Update Manager.
Just delete the folder Update Manager not the Veritas Software folder if you
plan on using the DLA program.
