Program Icons

I am trying to do somthing very simple. I want to change
the default icon for a program. How do I do this. In
older versions of Windows this was done by going to the
File Types area. How do I do this in XP.

You can still do it that way. In My Computer goto Tools>>Folder
Opitions>>File Types Tab>>Chlcik on the extension then click Advanced.
