Program File item not on Menu

Stan

I just installed Acronis True Image. When I look in the C:program Files,
it is the first program (alphabetically). When I use Start->All Programs
it is not there.

Should it be? Is there another way to get it into the All Programs?

Thanks
Stan

During a typical install of Acronis True Image there should be listing in
Start->Programs->Acronis.

Try reinstalling the program again.

I've installed and reinstalled about 10 times in the past two days and
it hasn't shown up yet.

Assuming True Image functions if you double click the exe in explorer,
simply add the shortcut to your Start Menu. Though do check all the entries
in your Start Menu first

Is it in any of the c:\documents and settings\any of the folders\start
menu\programs?

Yes. It's in the one under my name. Seems like not all of them under my
name are getting merged in with the ones in ALL.
If it's not in the start menu\programs that is used on your desktop,
simply create or copy/paste a shortcut to your start menu\programs.

Did you right click on the Start Menu | All Programs and select Sort by
Name. If you just added it, it could be at the end of the list. And if you
have Scroll Programs on, the list may need to be scrolled to get to the
bottom of the list.

That was it. Thank you. Thank you. Looks like I need to understand this
a little more.
