IE crashes on Go (to URL)

I am helping a friend. Her IE (XP) crashes consistently when she tries
to Go to any URL she has entered. Is this a known problem? And ideas
on how to fix it?

I'm using SeaMonkey, a suite in the style of Netscape and Mozilla.

Hi Stan,
Your Friend looks like have a Malware or virus, try to clean first and then
see if she can gain access and type in the URL.
If no joy after scan go here
