Program Error

L

LeRoy J. Burnside

Using XP Home w/ Windows Defender for Adware/Spyware blocking and removal. On start up, WD program alerts me to remove harmful or unwanted items,so I open and click on "Remove All", which starts the removal process but after a few seconds a window appears: Windows Defender Error: Ox80501001 One or more actions could not be completed successfully. What is the explanation for that coded error message? Why does it appear and how can I remove it? Also, I get a similar error message:Ox80070005:Access is Denied, when I try to set up Task Scheduler For Defrag, Disc Clean up etc. Specific help/solution would be appreciated. Please keep it simple!
