Profiles: Cannot get manual selection to work...

I have 2 profiles that I use in Outlook 2007. I have Outlook set to ask
which profile to use prior to load. Until recently, it has been working
fine. Now, Outlook does not ask, and tries to load which profile I was in
last, the last time my PC was on. I have tried changing the settings from
manual to automatic and back again. I have tried adding a third profile. I
have tried deleting the 3rd profile.

I have also looed online and found nothing similar to date on this issue.
Any ideas, short of blowing profiles away entirely and re-creating them again?

Is anything else running the Outlook process first? Check if it is running
before you try and open Outlook.
