Outlook 2007 Profiles/Accounts Prompt at Log on

There are alot of posts regarding the difference between profiles and
accounts. I will try to be as clear as I can.

I have two Outlook 2007 profiles ... that is to say, I have one
profile/account that sends and receives under A and A's email address, and an
entirely different profile/account that sends and receives under B and B's
email address.

When I go to Control Panel, Email, and Show Profiles, "the following
profiles are setup on your computer" show both A and B separately and
correctly.

The button for "Prompt for a Profile to be Used" is checked so that when I
log on to Outlook, I should be able to choose whether A or B will come up.

When I boot up, I get the prompt. When I close Outlook and reopen Outlook,
I am no longer prompted and the previously opened profile or account or
whatever you call it will open again.

Both A and B are set up correctly. My only problem is that to switch
between the two, I must restart my computer which is not convenient.

I realize that this is not OE so "Switch Profiles" is not available to me.
However, if I'm reading the Outlook support page correctly, I should be able
to close Outlook, reopen Outlook, and receive the prompt ... but I don't.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
