Production copy of Access DB application for end users

I have created DB application with forms in Access 2007. I need to create
Production copy of it so end user can use it. I tried making it ACCDE using
DATABASE tools but still user can access tables and open it as like back end.
I like even to hide those tables and forms in left menu as you see them when
on developing machine. Thanks. I really need this help ASAP.

Gina, thanks for information. Actually, Users have Access Engine. so they can
open it. ACCDE file only protects forms, but tables are still accessible by
users even in design mode. I am really surprised, why microsoft will allow
this for ACCDE format as isn't it for deployment the copy of database app for
users? Thanks,

Fahim,

You can hide the tabes by right mouse click and then selecting Hidden... of
ocurse, if anyone has selected Show Hidden from Tools - Options then they
will see a ghost of the table. Another option would be to hide the object
window and disable the shift key, only remember to maintain a copy of the
database for you to work on for making updates. Of course, that scenario
only works if you split the databse or installing updates will be much more
difficult.
