Product key

I have vista ultimate 32 bit and want to get the 64 bit version but when I
enter my product key it says "invalid no offer found" My vista is activated
so I dont understand why it says this??

I read that if you have vista utimate you can upgrade to the 64 bit version
thru ms and there is a website do do just that. My problem is when it asks
you to enter the product key from your current version "which is on the
sticker on the dvd case" I do just that but a message comes up saying invalid
code and no offer available. I did authenticate my version of windows vista
on ms website . Its the oem version so I should be able to get the 64bit disc
by just paying shipping/handling charge. I looked to see if the product code
thats on my computer was the same as the one thats on my windows case and it
is not. Its not even 25 digets long so Im confused about that.
