vakamahorika,

Why do you want to install the 64-bit version? Do you know for sure that
all of your hardware has drivers for Vista 64? Is your software 64-bit?

Its not neccesarily better because it is 64bit. There have been alot of
compatibility issues with 64bit OSes and lack of support for 64bit for many
vendors. Many many people suggest staying away from 64bit for now because it
is not totally ready for mainstream.

yes and its better too
Actually it is not better unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE you are going
to be using 64 bit programs. AND all 64 bit processors do math stuff
at 32 bit. 64 bit processing is great when you have hte programs to
support it. The problem is most companies have jumped o nthe bandwagon
yet and drivers are very hard to find. A 32 bit printer driver may not
work in a 64 bit environment!

its really pretty simple it would seem.
just go back to the OEM that provided the 32 bit and request the 64 bit, will probably have to pay more.

I think you've missed the original question: Where can
"vakamahorika" get the 64 Bit version?
He might have the same problem I have: Got a 32 Bit OEM version.
The "Windows Vista Aternate Media" site seems only to accept retail
versions/keys, but not OEMs:

Cheers, Wolfgang
