Product Activation

Hi all,
I am not sure this is the best place to ask this question but it did seem
appropriate.

I have a computer with XP Pro (and Office Pro) installed on it but I have
lost the activation codes for the both of them.

Is there any way of recovering the activation codes? The computer
previously belonged to a colleague but I believe that the activations are
locked to the computer itself???????

Any help is appreciated.

Are you talking about the Windows Product Key? The easiest way is at the

Hi Mike,
I tried that program on another machine, where I knew the activation code,
but the result from the MagicalJellyBean didn't match the one on the COA.

How can this be? Any ideas for MS Office?
