1 idea.
Download FreshUI (
www.freshdevies.com), its free so don't
worry.
When you get the program up and running goto the left
hand side and select the Windows Interface menu, then the
Desktop Menu and finally Screen Saver. Under Screen Saver
options you will see the "password-protect all
screensavers" option. Double click that and check the
box. This edits the registry directly and will hopefully
help you in your problem.
Hope i helped,

I have recently tried several times to set my log on up
with a screen saver protect password. I have done this a
million times on other computers with various OS's. I do
have a password associated with my log on, and I have
appropriate checked the "On resume, password protect"
box. I am totally lost as to why it still will not
work. Any ideas??
