You might be experiencing a known problem with PowerPoint Viewer 2003
on Windows XP SP-2 (Service Pack 2).
Testing has come up with the following workaround.
1) Install PowerPoint Viewer 97 to the same folder as PowerPoint
Viewer 2003.
2) Rename the respective executables for the two viewers as follows:
2a) Rename PowerPoint Viewer 97 executable to something other than
"pptview.exe" or "ppview32.exe"
2b) Rename PowerPoint Viewer 2003 executable "ppview32.exe"
This will "trick" Outlook Express into using PowerPoint Viewer 2003
(instead of PowerPoint Viewer 97) to open attachments.
