Problems with Flash drive and EWF during FBA

I’m trying to build and XPe image using a flash drive, it has an EWF disk
overlay and currently nothing else of consequence. I’ve had the same image
working without the EWF on a hard drive, but as soon as I change to the flash
drive with the EWF stuff enabled I get a blue screen during the FBA process.
There are no FBA logs generated, only the blue screen with the message:

PROCESS1_INITIALIAZATION_FAILED

*** STOP: 0x0000006B (0xC000000D, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Has anybody seen this before, or have any suggestions as to what’s going
wrong?

Thanks.

Hi Rob,

Are you sure that you want to use disk overlay on flash drive? What about a write wear factor?

Sorry my post was a bit missleading. the EWF is protecting the flash drive
and the overlay is redirecting writes to a standard hard drive.

Anyway I've managed to solve the problem. My image was using NTFS, but my
drives were using FAT, as soon as I changed that I had no problems.

Hi Rob,

Ok this make sense :)

PS: Sorry that I forgot to paste link on XPe tip related to 6b error. 6b and 7b are very common in these waters :)
