Problems with DVD drive

Hi everyone!
I have a problem:
I wanted to look a DVD on my PC.
I insert the DVD.
The drive turns the DVD a few times and then....nothing
When i open the explorer and klick on the DVD drive it
says that the drive is empty. the DVD doesn´t turn more
than a few times and than it stops. When i insert a CD-Rom
the drive reads without problems!!
please help me fixing the problem!!!
